I just started this book and my first opinion is that it is really different then the movie and the book has a lot more detail.

I think the idea of the book is interesting but it is not working for me. I feel like I read the last chapter of the book and now am going back and reading the book. It also feels like I am reading all the sources that someone gathered in preparation to write a research paper. It is quick read so I will finish it.

I chose the book because I saw the movie and I want to know how the story is in the book

the different stories Brooks uses to describe the horrors every single one of the survivors lived through has done nothing but less than engage and put the reader on edge. I can vividly imagine the scenarios as the stories are told.

This book is amazing and yet at the same time completely terrifying. I've read a lot of horror novels but this is really getting to me, it's great!

This book is awesome!

I'm really enjoying the audio book version of this as it works well with the oral history format. It's especially enlightening to hear the individual characters performed by various actors, including accents unique to each.

Whew. Listened to the audio then went back and read the 30 chapters not in the audio. Good novel!

I was told that this is way better than the movie, that it is one of the best zombie books of all time, it better not disappoint! :D

I'm finding it really interesting so far. The constant changing of point of view is really holding my attention.

omg i'm so glad I'm almost done this. It's been a chore to get through. Not holding my interest at all.

i am really suprised by the book. Zombies currently play a more secondary role. The corrupted humanity the primary role.

The name of the chapter is Around the World, and Above. Just got a sense of what he meant by above. So many perspectives, he has actually thought of everything. Fucking Space. Who would have thunk? Jeez. What a book.
