How do you deal with writer’s block?

Doyle Sinclair I NEVER ever have writer's block. Ever. I write 7 days a week, minimum of 2 hours per day after work on workdays, and 8-10 each day on Saturdays and S…moreI NEVER ever have writer's block. Ever. I write 7 days a week, minimum of 2 hours per day after work on workdays, and 8-10 each day on Saturdays and Sundays.
I never have to deal with writer's block because I currently have 6 synopses for novels I am working on, and at this point I am writing 3 novels at a time. If I get 'blocked' one any one. . .or I write so much that I get 'tired' of it, I simply switch to one of the others that I haven't written on lately. This prevents writer's block.
Have more than 1 project going at any given time, and if you feel blocked, simply switch to the other one.
This method will allow me to get 3 full-length novels out this year (325 -425 pages each)

My goal is to have 20 novels out, and I'm about to release #5 so, I have plenty of writing ahead of me. NO writer's block, There's simply no time for it.
I will say this though. . .it took me 2 years of writing before I could get myself to write 7 days in a row without taking a day off. Now I write 7 days a week, no matter what. Haven't stopped doing that for 6 years now. (less)

I…moreI think the best thing about being a writer is having the ability to create your own universe and have the characters in it act as you want them to. I also enjoy taking my friends and colleagues and turning them into characters, although I definitely add something to them, or change them just enough that I can say that I haven't put an actual person in my novels.

And of course, it's gratifying when someone reads a novel and gives good feedback!(less)
