"Emily stepped as softly as possible down the hall toward the bedroom from where the scream came. She quietly turned the knob and opened the door just a crack to peek inside, but all she could see was a bloodshot eyeball peering back at her from inside the room."(less)

However, I guess the question co…moreFirst, I don't believe in writer's block. I think it is an excuse that writers use when they don't feel like writing. However, I guess the question could be then, "What do you do when you don't feel like writing?"

Secondly, when you don't feel like writing or can't think of anything good to write, you just have to sit in your chair and write crap. Do this for a few minutes and it seems the block gets unblocked. You will likely see a way to edit your crap and make sense of it or you can throw it out and start over. Do this a few times and your writing muse returns.(less)
