John Ryland is an author with a unique flare for the macabre. His natural, unencumbered prose and shadowy southern style have made him a fan favorite. He writes poetry, short stories, and novels in Northport, Alabama where he lives with his wife and two sons.
More than a dozen short stories have appeared in journals and publications across the U.S. and U.K. Some of his recent work has been featured in anthologies by HellBound Books, The Great Void Books, and Red Cape Publishing. You can also find his stories in The Chamber Magazine, Bewildering Stories, The Eldritch Journal, The Writers Magazine, Otherwise Engaged, The Ginesko Journal, and others.
