Del Boland has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology with 25 years experience in fast track project management, new business development, and technical sales. Del has also worked as a volunteer for over 30 years, including Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity, Angeleman's Syndrome Foundation, and We Grow Dreams. Del has served on three boards. The first draft is usually not a problem for me unless I run into a structural issue where I might feel that something's missing in a story, for example. In this case, I tend to deconstruct and analyze the story until I find the balance that I'm hoping to achieve. Mostly, I struggle with motivation to edit and rewrite after the first draft is written. Ultimately, maintaining my level of interest in my story or my topic is my best defense. (less)
