As a college level instructor of history I love to delve into what make people do what they do. The geography, resources, and psychology of a story is fascinating to me. Every living thing is effected by it and delving into these things creates interesting narratives. I wrote Spirits of the Land wanting to showcase human qualities that from a Western readers point of view of Africa is often over looked. Spirits of the Land comes from years of research and the love of history and human driven stories. I worked at the now defunked Toys R Us for 20 years, a Veterinarian Tech for 4 years, owned my own landscaping business, a teacher of middle and high school and the latest as a college instructor for 11 years now.
