At 6 feet in height, Danielle Marie Gillespie-Hallinan is one tall tale. With 30 letters in her name, she is also terribly long-winded. She grew up in a watermelon in the middle of a cornfield in Hermiston, Oregon. Curious about the world, she read every book in the library. When she finished high school, she moved to Eugene to study journalism at the University of Oregon. There, she became best friends with the Duck, who loved to dance and sing with her in the pouring rain.

After college, she met a boy named Peter Pan who made her laugh so hard she nearly knocked the earth off its axis. He gave her a kiss and asked her to join him in La La Land (Los Angeles), where they have lived happily ever since.
