I would be writing a…moreI am such a detail-oriented person that the hardest part of writing for me was to not get derailed by tiny details along the way. I would be writing a chapter and have the general flow in my head. But then I would get distracted by some inane detail like a formatting fluke or finding an exact reference, which would make me lose my train of thought. Then, I started keeping a pen and paper at hand while I was typing so I could jot down to-do's for later and get back to writing. I know, it's a pretty silly bit of advice, but it really helped me!(less)
