Her two books of poetry, Soma Song (Word Project Press 2013) and Weathering Cracks (Turtle Crossing Press 2018) will appeal to mature readers who are interested in finding joy in each present moment, regardless of the losses and trials in one’s life. Healing through the creative process is a predominant theme in all her work. Meditative, sexy, quirky and wise – all are qualities that readers have found on these pages. She also has a children’s picture book, “Are You a Tree?” and an autobiography in the works.
Joy currently resides in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. She is available for readings, interviews, and workshops. Visit her website www.joywillow.com for samples of artwork and poetry. ...more
