Tanya Shereni is a Zimbabwean writer and poet currently based in Japan. Her work explores themes of love, grief, identity, and emotional resilience—often drawn from real-life experiences and the quiet, powerful moments in everyday life.

She began writing at a young age, completing her first novella, Scarred Carr, as a teenager. She later published Desiderium, a tender story of heartbreak and healing. Her poetry collection weaves through nature, mental health, and the human condition, reflecting her deep belief in the power of words to heal and connect.

She enjoys museums, stars, soft lights, and the stillness of early mornings. She writes with the hope of leaving something gentle behind.
