Life can be horrible enough. I never understood readers or movie fans of horror. I knew a young lady in college named Louise, who was the nicest girl. I knew her in grammar school. She was nothing but sweet and nice. When she told me she loves horror books and movies, I was stunned. I would have never guessed. Another friend of mine, Jim O'Heir, who is a REALLY nice guy and famous from his role on the office, is another one who loves dark stories. I just don't know what to make of it. Don't judge a person by how nice they seem?(less)
John Ruane I would accompany the protagonist on his journey in Life of Pi, a wonderful book!

John Ruane I am most definitely a one book at a time reader. Although perhaps for the first time in my life, I was reading two books at a time during the spring - Catcher in the Rye and Max Perkins. Prefer one at a time to be sure.
