“The happily ever after thing. It's great when she marries the prince or whatever and they say that. But they just don't show the part where there's a revolution and they drag her to the guillotine.”
Mark D. Diehl, Vida Nocturna

“The coke bugs were out in force, doing military manoeuvres, all jazzed up on their Bolivian marching powder.”

Wow, Tom, that's quite a book you have there! You've certainly been through a lot. Adversity does, indeed, build character. I've been sharing my own story of adversity here on Goodreads as a blog. My wife and I were chased out of South Korea by her powerful family and the cops and stranded in Hong Kong. I'm calling it "Our Story," and I post a new part of it every Sunday.

Gusto Dave Hi Mark! Thanks for your friendship.

I’m Gusto Dave Jackson Publicist for Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers and I wouldn’t be worth my salt if I didn’t tout our blog and organization. Chiseled in Rock http://chiseledinrock.blogspot.com features side-splitting satire and some flash fiction for intellectual readers.

This week on the Rock: Classic Love Triangle (comedy video with animals), in Monday’s interview with agent AMANDA LUEDEKE she hints at what the next wave in genres will be, and erotic romance writer E.C. STACY offers up another warped cartoon.

RMFW has several bestselling authors such as NYT Bestseller JEANNE STEIN and J.A. KAZIMER. You have an open invitation to the “The Rock” for contests, entertainment, and an insight to the world of writing! Let’s follow each others’ blogs!

Carolyn Haven Thank you for your friendship. Happy reading and writing. This place helps authors connect with readers and vice versa. It is also a great way to keep up with the books you've read. (Less buying duplicates - if you read a lot.)

Maureen Mullis Hi Mark, thank you for adding this author to your circle of friends here on Goodreads. I hope you'll add my books What Would Nancy Do?, The Christmas to Remember, In the Company of Women and Finding Normal to your to-read list. I look forward to reading your book reviews and recommendations. Happy reading!
