I have five brothers and one of them is named Matthew. However, of course my imagination had a huge part in this too. I like to think the Holy Spirit was guiding me along in my writing journey. Without God's inspiration and my family's motivation, this story would never come to be! (less)

Booker T. Washington
“Those who are happiest are those who do the most for others.”
Booker T. Washington, Up from Slavery

Joyce Kilmer
“I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is pressed
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.”
Joyce Kilmer, Trees & Other Poems

John Vianney
“We must take great care never to do anything before having said our morning prayers...The Devil once declared that if he could have the first moment of the day, he was sure of all the rest.”
St. John Vianney

Mother Teresa
“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
Mother Teresa

Charles Dickens
“Have a heart that never hardens, and a temper that never tires, and a touch that never hurts.”
Charles Dickens
