Of course, you probably can guess that Guy of Gisborne is my favorite character, just as Robin is Olivia's favorite character. And yes, the sheriff does have a psychological hold over Guy which is revealed in the third book - great catch!

I also appreciated your mention that "Lionhearted" might be an Americanism. I didn't realize that, and I was working hard to avoid Americanisms while keeping the book from being strictly British in its word usage. I was hoping to satisfy readers on both sides of the pond. Olivia is not a native English speaker, although she has spent quite a bit of time in England, and she is wonderfully fluent.

And now to answer your question - actually "Robin Hood's Widow" was written by Olivia before "Robin Hood's Dawn" was written! So there is a finished draft that needs some work (such as removing Olivia's lovely accent from the dialogue) and editing. The third book (Robin Hood's Return) is half finished. The obstacle at this point is that we were hoping that sales of the first book would help finance the publishing of the second, and the second would help finance the third. Unfortunately, although we've received a lot of wonderful reviews (such as yours), sales have been disappointing. At this point, we have no choice but to approach some publishers to see if we can continue publishing through a publisher. Olivia is working on sending query letters at this time.

Thank you again! If you feel comfortable leaving your review at Amazon (especially the main Amazon site), it would be great, but of course, it is your choice. And if you have questions about anything in the book, I can try to answer them, unless the answer would be a spoiler.

Elizabeth maintained her self-possession throughout, dancing when necessary with partners who approached her out of duty rather than desire.

A Lady’s Gambit by Theodora Winthrop
Yet if she encouraged Mr. Whitmore, his attentions would become the talk of Meryton. Such gossip would inevitably reach Mr. Bingley, potentially casting a shadow over Jane’s prospects. The elder sister entertaining a suitor while the beauty remained unattached would violate the natural order of things in the marriage market.
here, Elizabeth is the eldest daughter... anyway I do not believe Jane's prospects would suffer too much if one of her sisters was courted by a respectable gentleman. Especially if said sister is the oldest.

A Lady’s Gambit by Theodora Winthrop
Elizabeth half expected that she might soon receive a note from Mr. Blunt, her father’s solicitor, with whom she had recently spoken and who promised to alert her to any urgent affairs promptly.
forget about the impropriety of Elizabeth corresponding with a man, I believe it would break all manner of confidentiality if Mr. Bennet's lawyer revealed his secrets to random relatives.

A Lady’s Gambit by Theodora Winthrop
She lingered at the window, eyes tracing the fading sunlight across the hedgerows, a generous smile curving her lips as she watched a flock of birds wheel over the fields. The golden glow seemed to set the world outside ablaze, offering her a moment’s while chaos reigned behind her.

A Lady’s Gambit by Theodora Winthrop
It was raining for the past four days—a steady, relentless drizzle that turned the lanes of Hertfordshire into small rivers of mud and cast a grey pall over the house at Longbourn, adding a certain melancholy to the place.
