Kat Day has never been on a cooking show, but she wouldn't mind judging one. It is free food after all.

Balancing jobs between writing and cooking seemed difficult at first - but then she thought, oh, why not? Let's combine them.

And so her eighth book was born.

She currently lives in a central city in Illinois with her goofy pit bull mix. She owns her own Dungeons & Dragons inspired LARPing business, has an insane love for salmon, and strives to live that nerd life every day.
