Stuart Killbourn is a physicist having studied at the University of Glasgow, where he joined the research group building gravitational wave detectors – a search that ultimately proved successful in 2015 with convincing proof not only of their existence, but the existence of massive black holes and experimental confirmation of Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity. Having concluded his doctoral studies, he travelled extensively in post-communist Europe and around the world working mainly in the oil and gas industry.
