Christa is een Nederlandse wetenschapper en schrijfster. Ze studeerde milieuwetenschappen aan de Universiteit van Utrecht en milieusysteemanalyse aan de Universiteit Wageningen. Voor haar promotieonderzoek verkent ze interacties binnen de voedselomgeving die de overgang naar een meer plantaardig dieet belemmeren.

Inmiddels heeft ze meerdere korte verhalen gepubliceerd. In 2020 is haar eerste bundel verschenen, 'Van Eigen Hand', een verzameling korte verhalen die eerder gepubliceerd en/of bekroond zijn. Sindsdien zijn nog enkele korte verhalen van haar verschenen en schrijft ze aan een dystopische jeugdroman, waarvan het eerste deel is ingediend bij een uitgeverij.
