I was born in Minnesota but spent most of my life in Davenport, IA. I had a pretty average childhood, besides the time I fought 6 ninjas with swords and won without even having a weapon. I got into the industry trying to make comic books. Having no drawing talent and not wanting to work with an artist, I switched to just being an author.
