When a somethi…moreI refuse to believe in "writer's block". Even though, I'm still pretty sure there are monsters under my bed just waiting to eat my feet.
When a something refuses to let me write it, I have a few different ways to work around it.
Some times, chores around the house will get done.
If something is on my mind, I'll freewrite a long rant or brain dump or sometimes just ramble through some character's backstory.
Usually after that freewriting, I can tackle a scene again.(less)

All that reading sticks in your head. The more you read, the more your brain picks up on wording and rhythms. (It's best to find well written works to read.)
All that writing helps you find your voice and your style. And those things will not be loved by everyone. Find the ones who enjoy it. Smile and nod at those who don't. You weren't writing for them - someone else is. :D
Find knowledgable critiquers who will help you mold bits into good a structure with clear writing.
Let go of perfection. It's not real. No matter what critiquers and reviewers might say. (less)
