Bruna is an Indigenous translator, proofreader, reviewer and content creator. Born in Sao Luis, Brazil, she was a booktuber from 2014 to 2020 and created over 800 videos about books and publishing that have reached over 1.4 million people.

She has worked with some of Brazil's major publishing houses and translated works of Cherie Dimaline, Angeline Boulley and Silvia Moreno-Garcia. She currently lives in Montréal and is studying to become an English/French translator, and is an avid user of her library card.
