Christopher is an adult child of an alcoholic and believes that sharing his experiences will help others find fellowship, strength and hope. He also wants to give an honest "peek behind the curtain" for a better understanding of alcoholism and its effects on those closest to the disease.

Christopher resides in Madison, Wisconsin and has been working in the credit union industry since 2005 holding various positions, including Director of Communications. “There are alcoholics dripping from both sides of my family tree. Some grandparents, some great grandparents, some uncles and aunts all had long periods where they drank endlessly. Throw in mental illness here and there too. Some drugs. It’s their story to tell though, so I won’t try, but I feel like I was born with
scar tissue sometimes.”
christopher morris, We Are All Made of Scars

“We are all made of scars, this is true, but don’t forget we are all made of beautiful stars too.”
Christopher Morris, We Are All Made of Scars

“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.”
Ernest Hemingway

“You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.”
Jon Kabat-Zinn

“If you can see your path laid out in front of you step by step, you know it's not your path. Your own path you make with every step you take. That's why it's your path.”
Joseph Campbell

“Good prose should be transparent, like a window pane.”
George Orwell

“We are all made of scars, this is true, but don’t forget we are all made of beautiful stars too.”
