Ann Sharples has written several books, including the 'Violet Jelly Trilogy', which she illustrated. Her adult novels are 'Snowflake Symphony' and 'Impression of a Dilemma'. She is an avid reader of poetry and has written many poems, some of which have been published.

The inspiration for Ann's writing comes from a variety of sources. Each inspiration, together with a love of words and language, enables her to create a unique insight into the unusual characters who are the mainstay of her work.
