Robert Laynton gained a B.Sc. Honors degree in Psychology with the Open University, a Post Graduate Certificate and Diploma in counseling at Keele University in Staffordshire, England, and has been a member of the British Psychological Society and their Transpersonal Psychology Division. He has been engaged with Christianity for over fifty years and served briefly as deacon, lay preacher and study leader. He has informally studied Christian as well as Islamic and Hindu mysticism. Having worked in the pottery industry and the retail sector, he is now retired. His interests include photography, classic movies, jazz, American pulp fiction and American comics of the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s. He began writing books in 2012.
