I had a dream that my twin sister died in my arms, which was the most devastating experience I had ever encountered. Dream or not. So i wanted to write a novel about the love between twin sisters and how important that bond is. I played on the idea and added to the story what appealed to me. I have an interest in all things dystopian, fantasy, and science fiction, so naturally that is the approach I took. (less)
