Mark Sloan is an author, independent researcher, and founder of The Institute for Human Discovery, where he explores questions in health, biology, nutrition, and the mechanisms of disease.

His books include the six-time #1 international bestseller Red Light Therapy: Miracle Medicine, The Cancer Industry, and Cancer: The Metabolic Disease. His work is known for combining extensive scientific research with clear explanations designed to make complex ideas accessible to ordinary readers.

After losing his mother to cancer at age 12, Mark dedicated much of his life to understanding disease and challenging assumptions that do not withstand scrutiny.
