I read a story called The Return Journey and it's about Freda who is from Ireland her father married her mother in Dunglass; it is a village but they had the biggest house there. Her father was a two man; one man sober and another man drunk. Freda’s mother name is Annabel, she was tall and straight and she walked as if she owned Dunglass. Freda was sent to a boarding school but she doesn’t know why they made her leave such a lovely large house. Peggy is the one who looked after Freda when she was young. Freda’s mother was admired because she ran the place even though her husband went away and she didn’t want sympathy but she only needed the admiration. Moving forward, Freda met a man called Gianni, which is her husband, and he was Italian American. She took Gianni to her house in Dunglass to let him meet her mother and get married in Dunglass like her father did to her mother. Freda’s mother didn’t liked Gianni because his parent’s were poor and Freda was so sad because of this. She couldn’t stay more with her mother hearing words about Gianni. So, they went away and get married, they had one daughter called Gina. Additionally, Freda didn’t tell Gina everything about her history but she just mentioned Dunglass, which was w big house with big gates. Gina decided to travel to Ireland to see Dunglass. For a shocking moment, she knew that Dunglass is not a house but it’s actually a village. Gina got sad and angry of her mother because she wanted the truth. Actually Freda didn’t like to talk a lot about her past. Gina then met Peggy and told her that she is still waiting for Freda to come back home even though everyone left. In addition, Peggy kept all Freda’s stuff as a treasure.

In addition, I read another story from this book: The business trip, it is a nice story about a lady called Lena who had a crush on Shay.
Lena always dreamed on Shay, she actually loves him but he didn’t care; she loved him since she was 26 and now she is 30 years old and he still doesn’t care. Lena loved her work because Shay works with her and no one knows about her secret crush on him except Maggie her aunt. Maggie had the same story as Lena; she felt in love with a man who doesn’t appreciate love but she also got married twice. Looking forwardly, the important two events in the story are Lena’s thirteenth birthday and her business trip with Shay. Maggie told Lena; if she traveled with Shay, she either decide to be involved with him such as two normal people who love each other or leave that job and put him out of her mind and life. Peacefully they went to London, ate lunch and dinner together but Shay didn’t changed he still doesn’t care for her love, he stayed how used to be and of course just talking about job. Lena then decided to leave him without let him know that she loved him for four years and she fixed his job and life just because she loves him. Unhappy ending, She went back home and telephoned her aunt Maggie.

Im willing to read more and more, I'm liking this book.. :D ...more "
