Originally from Kenya, Herman migrated to the United States in August 2001. He enrolled in Teen Mania's Honor Academy in August, 2001 as a leadership intern. After his graduation in 2002 he joined Regent University where he met Letricia Danyetta Dawson. The two got married in February 2004. Herman and Danyetta have two kids and currently live in Cincinnati, OH with their poodle, Frankie.
