Tatiana Krasnova was born in 1967 in Тоgliatti and began launching newspapers, magazines, books and coursebooks for her dolls and friends almost at once. Then she went on doing the same job in the local newspaper and the Research-and-Production magazine (covering all the posts in the job ladder from a proofreader to an editor-in-chief) as well as in publishing houses.
She is a member of the Russian Union of Writers, a graduate of Maxim Gorky Literature Institute and an award winner of several writing competitions. Moreover, she invested one of her prizes in further education, this time at State Finance Academy.

The story is set in the imaginary town and in real time, from the mid noughts till nowadays. “Familiar Faces” continue to show up in future books while minor and major characters tend to switch roles. They are our contemporaries and modern times fill their lives with new events.
The project has existed over 10 years and it is supposed to have an open ending because the author expresses a deep interest in the future fate of her characters.
In recent years, 11 books have been published. The latest ones are The Mirages of Happiness in a Small Town, The White Panama Hat (2011) and The Adult Children (2013) released by Eudokiya Publishing House and A Girl with a Bouquet and The Sandsculpting Competition (2013) published by Centrepolygraph Publishing House.

 Родилась в 1967 году в городе Тольятти и почти сразу начала выпускать газеты, журналы, книги и учебники для своих кукол и друзей. Затем продолжила эту работу в районной газете и научно-производственном журнале (побывав на всех ступеньках, от корректора до главного редактора), а также в книжных издательствах. Член Союза журналистов России. Окончила Литературный институт. Несколько раз получала премии на литературных конкурсах, одну из них решила вложить в свое образование и еще раз поучилась — в Финансовой академии. Автор цикла романов «Знакомые лица», связанных сквозными персонажами: молодежь от 5 до 15 и старше, их друзья и родители. Действие протекает в вымышленном городе и реальном времени — с середины «нулевых» годов до наших дней. «Знакомые лица» переходят из одной книги в другую, второстепенные и главные герои меняются местами. Они живут параллельно с нами, и новое время приносит им новые события. Проект длится более 10 лет и имеет принципиально открытый финал. Автору интересно, что будет дальше с его героями. Издано 11 книг, в последние годы: в издательстве «Евдокия» — «Миражи счастья в маленьком городе» и «Белая Панамка (2011), «Взрослые дети» (2013), в издательстве «Центрполиграф» — «Девушка с букетом» и «Конкурс песочных фигур» (2013).  Участник международного конкурса Берлинской библиотеки современной литературы «Лучшая книга года 2013» (золотая медаль в номинации детской и юношеской литературы).
