Joseph Jill wrote: "Hi Joseph, Welcome to Goodreads, and thanks for your friendship. I see you are interested in the Knights Templer. Have you read 'Knights of the Black & White by Jack Whyte?"

Thanks for the welcome and the friendship Jill, very much appreciated. Knights of the Black & White is one of my favourite's, along with Standard of Honour and Order in Chaos. Jack Whyte has produced a fantastic Trilogy surrounding the life of Templar Knights and their trials in the crusades and also amongst themselves. I grew very attached to them and they still have pride of place on my bookcases.

If you like Templar reads, both Chris Kuzneski (Sword of God, Sign of the Cross, The Secret Crown) and Robyn Young (Requiem, Crusade, Brethren) are also pretty damn good. But there are so many writers out there producing amazing Templar and Secret Society books that it takes a special writer to compete with them. Hopefully I'll be one of them!

Thanks again Jill.
