Author biographies are hard, because you want to quickly establish trust, but not come across as all hoity-toity. With a book like mine, you also want to be viewed as not crazy or angry. So, here's my best shot: I'm Rayne Wolfe, a retired NYTimes newspaper reporter, who left daily reporting to write my first book, Toxic Mom Toolkit. Having grown up with three mothers -- two toxic -- and one wonderful, I was an expert on surviving and thriving. I figured, if I could capture and aggregate a range of stories about what it's like to grow up with a super toxic mother I might save readers time and agony and help them focus on establishing happy and peaceful lives. Spitting Into the Wind – Part Two

Leave it to me to leave a cliffhanger hanging for the better part of SIX years. When last we spoke of spitting and waiting and having fights with husbands that resolved – (still married!) – and sending off DNA kits, although I knew I was mainly Norwegian.
