“You don’t want a cheap Strat. Everybody has it. What you want is a rare model. The one that’s very hard to get. And only a guitar you’ve put a lot of effort into buying would end up being the most important in your collection. Do you get it?”

“Read, read, read. Read everything -- trash, classics, good and bad, and see how they do it. Just like a carpenter who works as an apprentice and studies the master. Read! You'll absorb it.
Then write. If it's good, you'll find out. If it's not, throw it out of the window.”

That's actually how I ended up buying a collection of rock formations! )
Hey Polina, thanks for the friend invite. Rock Chicks by Kristen Ashley is one of my favourite series, but it's even better on audio in my opinion. I'm a wee bit biased though as Kristen Ashley is one of my favourite authors. Very humorous, with quirky heroines, bossy and tough heroes with a side of drama that draw you into their lives. It's not for everyone's taste, but if you don't take it too seriously, they're very enjoyable.See you around. :-) ♥
