She was running as fast as she could bare-footed down the dark road, hoping it wouldn't catch her, each swift leap getting her farther and farther away. She gained some distance and turned the corner praying she would find help at the house she saw in the distance...but then she had a stomach-wrenching realization - that was the house she had just escaped from.(less)
