Pamela Perry was born on August 27, 1975. She grew up in Methuen, Ma and moved to Knoxville, TN at the age of 15. With such a change in culture from North to South, Pamela found herself struggling to fit in while finishing up high school. One of her only escapes came through her love for reading and writing.
After graduating from Karns High School in 1993, Pamela attended Milligan College before continuing her studies at The University of TN. In 1995 she married and settled down in Halls, TN. Writing is a journey of time and thoughts and personal victories and failures. When giving it your all, it can get overwhelming and discouraging when things don't happen as fast as you want them to. There's a lot to getting your book completed and published. Research your genre. Research your age group. Research the publishers you wish to submit to and revise when needed. Most importantly, be willing to take criticism. It's not always nice, but it's always beneficial. I have been told things I didn't want to hear, but because of it I revised and got published.(less)

Book Fair in Tellico Village

“Slight change in plans today. Wound up at the Library in Tellico Village for a book fair with my good author friend Brooke Cox. Met a lot of new great authors as well as caught up with some of my seasoned writer friends. Thanks so much to everyone who came by this afternoon. Hopefully we can do it again next year!”
