I am a freelance writer, who particularly enjoys Astrology and the Tarot, but enjoy most metaphysical topics. I teach Astrology and Tarot Card Reading at local institutions. I live on a one lane road in the woods, where I enjoy nature, meditation, reading, writing and lately, knitting!

I love Goodreads and often find great ideas for what to read next here. I also wrote Pathways through Spirituality, a way to learn to read the Rider Waite Smth tarot by using poetry. I wrote one poem for each card. Check it out!

Henry David Thoreau
“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear; nor did I wish to practice resignation, unless it was quite necessary. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life, to cut a broad swath and shave close, to drive life into a corner, and reduce it to its lowest terms, and, if it proved to be mean, why then to get the whole and genuine meanness of it, and publish its meanness to the world; or if it were sublime, to know it by experience, and be able to give a true account of it in my next excursion.”
Henry David Thoreau

“It takes a very long time to become young.”

Stephen King
“If you don't have time to read, you don't have the time (or the tools) to write. Simple as that.”
Stephen King

“I think that we're all mentally ill. Those of us outside the asylums only hide it a little better - and maybe not all that much better after all.”

“If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot.”
