I was born in Buenos Aires in 1980, and although no one asked me about it as a child, I always knew I would end up telling stories.

I have a degree in Communication Sciences and a technical degree in Advertising, but my true training as a writer took place in the classroom: I spent many years working in non-formal education, surrounded by children, their impossible questions, and their unique way of seeing the world. When that chapter closed, I understood that I couldn't—and didn't want to—stay away from the world of children. So I started writing.

My stories first appeared in magazines and schoolbooks, until in 2009 I published *Tales of Princesses, Knights, and Dragons*, my first book. I write so that children (and the adults who read to them) laugh, get a little scared, ask questions, and, above all, fall in love with reading. If any of my books achieves that, my work is done.

Nací en Buenos Aires en 1980, y aunque nadie me lo preguntó de chico, siempre supe que terminaría contando historias.

Soy Licenciado en Ciencias de la Comunicación y Técnico Superior en Publicidad, pero mi verdadera formación como escritor la hice en las aulas: pasé muchos años trabajando en educación no formal, rodeado de chicos, de sus preguntas imposibles y de su forma única de ver el mundo. Cuando ese capítulo se cerró, entendí que no podía —ni quería— alejarme del universo infantil. Así que empecé a escribir.

Mis cuentos se abrieron camino primero en revistas y libros escolares, hasta que en 2009 publiqué Cuentos de princesas, caballeros y dragones, mi primer libro. Desde entonces no paré: hoy tengo más de una docena de títulos publicados, y sigo sumando historias, ahora también de forma independiente en Amazon.

Escribo para que los chicos (y los grandes que les leen) se rían, se asusten un poquito, se hagan preguntas y, sobre todo, se enamoren de la lectura. Si alguno de mis libros logra eso, mi trabajo está hecho.
