My first Eskens book, and I’ll be back for more. Crisp writing, entertaining, suspenseful storytelling, and realistic characters. I was rooting for Joe from start to finish. A smart twist at the end that I didn’t see coming.

Interesting look at things we don’t often consider: why does crime drop, why do drug dealers live at home, why do teachers cheat, and more? At least one chapter had no purpose, in my opinion. Still worth the time though.
