If I am to be honest, I must go right back to an old master of tale telling, one who knew how to roll the complexities of life into a few well chosen words.

William Shakespeare and the world famous Romeo and Juliette.

Why pick these, the answer is simple, they had it all. They suffered under a love the whole world was against. They defied all odds to grab a moment of bliss and never viewed the world less for its harshness. In the end, a life without the other was such a dull and thankless gift that the would gladly forgo it for the slightest promise of being together in a future that may just be a dream. What more can love be and what more can one give than their everything.

Feel free to call me a fool but that is my idea of love in the ages.

Droplets

Itwas a perfect day; a perfect day for a new beginning. Sunshine streamed throughthe windows; it's rays, softened by net curtains, danced with dust motsfloating on invisible currents of air. The stairs creaked happily under Jenny'ssneakers. She glanced over her shoulder at me and her eyes sparkled withdelight. A foot of blonde hair bounced in a no-nonsense ponytail, my sweatshi

This was my first read of a Peter James book and I liked it.

Out of the gate he had his hooks in me, always a good thing. Slick opening chapters painted an interesting backstory with a few well chosen lines. I much prefer this to a fifty page build up

My first LB book and it was good. Took me a while to warm to some of the characters but it was always entertaining. The ending earned it an extra star from me.

4.5 really.

A great book if you ask me so I won't impinge on anyone's pleasure. I did dock it a half a point because I would have enjoyed it a little more if the signposts for the wrong turns along the way were staged a little more discreetly.

The plot in this book is terrible. It's unbelievable, it's unfinished and it's undeserving of any sort of recommendation.

Read something else, you'll thank me later.

This was my first read of Sinead Crowley's work and I enjoyed every page. She didn't try to over sell any part of it, the plot was well conceived, some of the characters were a bit unfinished but I liked Claire, she came across well.

It's a yes from me.

You know, sometimes legal drama can be a bit of a bore, but this one bucked that trend. There was enough actual law in here to make it feel real without making me feel like I'd sat through a years worth of lectures. I think this b
