I grew up among the markets of Rome. My father was a market stall vendor for a lifetime and my mother worked with him for many years. After four years of a carefree lifestyle, I graduated in History and Criticism of Cinema, hoping to soon become a director. Blissful innocence. I worked as a film critic for a year. The work and the pay weren’t that great, but on the positive side, I got to see movies for free. 5 years working in film production gave me extensive on field experience and gave me the opportunity to meet and get to know my present day colleagues; actually in all honesty, I did not work a lot in the real cinema; I worked in many television movies.
