Dale's style is to write fast-paced, suspenseful novels with plenty of action. He expends great effort to make these scenes as creative and unusual as possible, especially in his thrillers.

CROSSING ZERO, a thriller, was published in May of 2018. The novel features a unique premise, and an unforgettable twist.

The prestigious Kirkus Reviews gave a very positive review of Dale's previous thriller, FEAR RUNNER.

He has a Western published in both hard cover and e-book format. A Black Horse Western, DEATH MOUNTAIN, was published in England in August of 2015

Besides writing, he enjoys exploring the back roads of California, and fine art photography. His photos have won several awards.
