Jack Malik is a poet from Ipoh, Perak MY. He is part of an artist collective called Projek Rabak. Jack also actively writes, performs, and translates poetry. His works have been published internationally in Mekong Review, Words Without Borders, and Pandan Weekly; and locally in Dewan Sastera, Selangorkini, and Tukang Puisi. Jack has three poetry collections, mainly in Malay: Wannabe Sasau, Sajakjakja(c)k, and Gampang! He is one of the recipients of the Selangor State Literary Prize (known as Hadiah Sastera Selangor) 2020 for poetry.

This is a more composed, more contemplative, yet restless Siken compared to Crush Siken that is more urgent and energetic.
