After graduating from Pitt (more years ago than I care to admit), I wrote for The Curtis Publishing Company and later, a feature writer for Chilton Publishing. I left the editorial side for PR (a journalist with shined shoes), then an ad copywriter and marketing executive, mostly because the pay was higher (I soon learned that’s because the stress was higher). I have written magazine articles, ads for print and TV, and newspaper feature articles. Since I retired, I have written columns for The Florida Times Union, Jax’s largest daily newspaper.

Some time ago I signed on with Goodreads, but I was so busy writing that I never really got involved nor plumbed the depth of this very fine website.
