I just finished “The Silent Patient” by Alex Michaelides. If you’re into psychological thrillers this is the one for you. I could t put it down! I also really enjoyed “The Immortalists” by Chloe Benjamin. I don’t want to give anything away but this book really gets you thinking about how much one would want to know about their future. Also, I highly recommend “A Man Called Ove” by Fredrik Bachman. A truly wonderful read! (less)

I couldn’t blink, I couldn’t move as I watched the doorknob being turned, slow, agonizing, a dark figure standing beside my bed in an instant, huge, round yellow eyes staring, paralyzing me, it’s mouth opened, a horrible death like stench, it’s face mere inches from my face, it smiled, a huge black hole of a smile as it’s hideous mouth prepared to swallow me, make me a part of it’s evil, I knew this, and then, a sudden surge of strength, I wasn’t ready to die....(less)
