This was first written many years ago, so you can see how the author was correct in many of his ideas of how events might evolve. We are at the doorstep, and I cannot wait to see my Lord.

This is a terrible take away, but I was surprised how many criminal-type people work on the island. Many other interesting details kept me turning the pages.

A friend in my writers' critique group has a tween book coming out in September 2011. The book is titled, 'Ghost Dog of Roanoke Island' by C.K. Volnek. This fictional novel is based on a true story of the Lost Colony of Roanoke Island and is C.K. Volnek's adaptation of what may have happened to the 117 missing colonists and Indians alike, as twelve-year-old Jack Dahlgren struggles to unravel the four-hundred year-old mystery and save his family from the hateful wraith that haunts the island.
