After managing nonprofits and winning millions of dollars in grant funding, I have more than a few opinions about how to do the work right. It's rewarding to help people plan responses to problems and get the funding they need to make positive change. I also enjoy the challenge of making complex information easy to understand and of speaking in a direct, straight-forward way in a field that is too often explained in an overly complicated way.(less)
