Hello Robert. Of course I will join your group and would be delighted to see my book become a group read. I look forward to exchanging views with you and your friends. Best, David Taylor
Hi, Robert and thanks for friends' invite. Presently I am working on my new book, a translation into English of another one of Samad Behrangi's fact/fiction stories. I will gladly start reading your recommended books as soon as I can take my mind off the present project.
Bob, Welcome to Goodreads. I would suggest you join the Goodreads Author program. It will say "Goodreads Author" after your name. (can't hurt.) Also put your book on your Goodreads page so we all can click it to see the info and a buy link.https://www.goodreads.com/help#join_a...
Looking forward to reading "The Secrets of Islay."
All the best,
Mike
Thanks for the friend request :) Well done on the marathons and anything to do with Single Malt is OK with me ;0) And Westward Ho! is a lovely place.
Hi Robert. Good to meet you and thanks for the request. I'll keep an eye out for your book; hope it goes well!
Thanks for the request :) Also, thank you for your service in the Navy! I greatly appreciate the offer of your book, but unfortunately I'm not currently accepting adult fiction books for review! I'm honored you considered me though, good luck in your endeavors and I look forward to discussing books(and golf) with you!
Hi Robert, nice to know you. Good luck for your marathons and your book. I'll certainly take a look in January, feel free to send a reminder.
Thanks, Jill. Actually, a young lady from Australia ran the Islay marathon. It was her first. She was working as a vet in Glasgow but has returned to Australia now. She was awfully excited to finish the race. They get in your blood.Cheers
Bob
Thank you, Robert, for your friendship here on GRs. You've done so many marathons. I'm amazed. I only managed two half marathons myself. Every best wish for 2015.

Before The Secrets of Islay launched in January, a gentleman from Madrid, Spain, contacted me. Mr. Cointreau wanted to read my book, explaining that he found it on the Internet. I presumed he had a Google search engine seeking areas of interest. He also advised me to enter his book contest. Skeptical, I investigated.
