Born and raised in Syracuse,NY.
Moved to the Finger Lakes,(9eneca Falls, NY),in 1986 to accept a job as an alcohol counselor in a hospital based Alcohol Detoxification Unit there. Is a New York State Certified (Credentialed) Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor. Earned a Master's Degree in Social Work from Syracuse University in 1996.
Now retired chose this time to write first novel, J.R.'s Story (initially titled JR). Hopes that many people will be able to relate to the story the book tells.
Married 1985.
Two living adult children.
Eldest son deceased (Leukemia)
Continues to live with wife in the Finger Lakes region.

I recently retired from a 22 year career as a mental health therapist specializing in addictions counseling. I still see a few clients as a private therapist. I have seen addiction, especially alcoholism, from every side and know the impact it has, both on its victim and on those close to him or her, especially family members. When I wrote J.R.'s Story I was aware that there are countless people who could relate to and benefit from reading it. It is my hope that, as word about the book begins to spread, that will be the case.

Looking for friends and reviews

My initial novel, J.R.'s Story (initially titled J.R.)was self published as a Kindle book in the Amazon Select Program in September of this year. Frankly, since that time, there has been very little notice payed to the book.
