Award-winning Alaskan photographer Mark Kelley has built his entire career around the place he calls home-Alaska. Mark has been photographing the places and faces of his state for the past forty years. A true Alaskan ambassador, Mark knows when to be where for Alaska to reveal itself in the next photograph. Having published multiple Alaska photo books for adults, I always thought it would be great to make a photo book for kid's. Certainly children deserve the best of the best, and that means beautiful photography, exquisite verse, and top-notch design. "Once Upon Alaska” includes some of my favorite images taken throughout the years and I hope that my images will be as successful with a children's audience as my prior books have been with grown-ups(less)
