Geoff Lawson left school at fifteen to become an all-round handy guy. His hobbies taught him other skills, such as vintage car and house restoring and a fascination for the historical. Along the way he acquired the 'good wife,' lovely daughters (and grandchildren too) and walked his way through the 101 things that mark a life well lived. His first serious foray into writing came with the restoration of an iconic antique artillery gun that resulted in his book 'Our Gun.' "I started to create a booklet that in six years had evolved into a full length book." This has now been followed by his first novel, "Forgiven."

Forgiven

Well, I'm back. I've been away for a year, removing all of the errors in Forgiven. It was quite a mission and there were many changes, which included more proof reads and a professional edit, plus a new cover from Bev Robiti. P.D.R. Geoff’s Quotes

“Actually, writers have no business writing about their own works. They either wax conceited, saying things like: 'My brilliance is possibly most apparent in my dazzling short story, "The Cookiepants Hypotenuse."' Or else they get unbearably cutesy: 'My cat Ootsywootums has given me all my best ideas, hasn't oo, squeezums?”

“History is about ordinary people living their ordinary lives, just as we do today, while all around the world is changing. It makes heroes out of some people and victims out of others.”
