I discussed this book for my Oddtober 2024 hoedown. My review is extremely verbose and can be read in full over on OTC, but here's a snippet: I entered into reading this book knowing little more than that someone who appeared in a film I liked wrote ...more |

Yes! We do seem to have great taste in books! And, with a little of Chuy's jalapeno ranch dressing, they taste even better!

Anita would be your go-to person for a recomendation for anything that would widen your eyes and make your hair stand on end. And she writes that kind of material quite well herself too.
Your website is one of my most favorite! This is like the best thing that makes me smile when I am lonely because reading your stuff makes me realize that there are so many beautifully weird things to discover out there.
Hi Anita,Thanks for sending a friend request to this mystery author on Goodreads! I hope you will put my books, A Real Basket Case, To Hell in a Handbasket, and the just released Deadly Currents, on your to-read list. If you'd like to enter a contest for free mystery books, sign up for my email newsletter at: http://bethgroundwater.com/ .
I've also reactivated my Q&A group, so please join and join in the discussions: http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/1...

Hi Anita! Thanks for approving us as friends. I’m Gusto Dave Jackson, Publicity Chair for Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers and I wouldn’t be worth my salt if I didn’t contact book lovers to tout our blog and organization. Chiseled in Rock http://chiseledinrock.blogspot.com features side-splitting satire, cartoons, and some flash fiction for intellectual readers.
This week we’re poking fun at Lincoln Child and Douglas Preston. And today’s very short piece about the lengths to which writers go to get published will crack you up!
We also plug an occasional book and interview bestselling authors. For writers, we offer tips and agent/editor interviews. RMFW has several bestselling and award winning authors as members such as Mario Acevedo, Joan Johnston, C.J. Box, and Carol Berg. You are invited to follow “The Rock” for contests, entertainment, and an insight to the world of writing!
Hi! Right after the book compare, I thought of a book for you. "Bad Monkeys"--I fear my initial review does not give it justice--it stays with you, and slowly sinks in--yhe more you think about it over time.
Thank you for your kind friend invite. The book compare between us-very interesting. I just retruned to goodreads, after being busy with my little one the past year. Lok forward to exchanging book titles with you, and reading your thought driven review.
How could I POSSIBLY pass up a friending from someone who runs a blog called I Read Odd Books? I write odd books!
Thank for adding me to your friends. I will be skimming your shelves for new books...I'm looking forward to chatting about them with you. T
Thanks Anita for befriending me here on GoodReads. I'm looking forward to checking out your book blog: http://ireadoddbooks.com since I'm always looking for odd new reads.
