Native San Franciscan, Michael Toro, has an unique background in music, law enforcement,and acting. Having grown up surrounded by jazz clubs and regional theater in San Francisco and Oakland with his father, Michael journeyed to Maryland where he started his law enforcement career in Prince George's County. Michael returned to the Bay Area and after fourteen years in the police force, started a new career in private security consulting that ironically led to an unexpected return to the arts. Inspired by his first novel, Michael has recently completed his first children's inspirational book, Cid's Quest, a young boy finds inspiration through his struggles, due out in July of 2014.
